During my current project I assemble large polyhedrons > 30 modules. A colleague kindly drew some assembly instructions for me, since it is not so easy… 5 and 6 module parts are alternately assembled in the 90piece polyhedron. 6 module elements don’t stick together as good as 5 piece elements, but nevertheless the result was quite good!

One 5-piece element is surrounded by 6-piece elements. After that, 5-and 6-piece modules are alternately assembled for the upper and lower part of the polyhedron. The two parts are connected by 6-piece elements. Assembly is easier said than done but it’s worth a try. Since the 90piece has 60 plains, I call it “exintaeder”, derived from Greek exínta for 60.
